Army deploys to crash pro-democracy protests in Jinja

Reports reaching Uganda Correspondent suggest that the government yesterday sent heavily armed UPDF soldiers to Jinja after it got intelligence reports that the opposition was planning to kick-start nationwide pro-democracy protests in Jinja.
