Janet Museveni committed blasphemy in her article
By Seezi Sewagaba
18th April 2011:- THE current crisis of high prices is the result of poor planning, greed and nepotism. If the fuel storage facilities at Jinja are empty, this shows that no planning was made for the fuel shortage. If a President decides to buy fighter jets at 700 million dollars when there are more other pressing and important needs for the country, then this only reflects incompetence in high places of decision making.
Our priorities as a nation are just wrong. Everything is done according to one man’s whim. It seems what he dreams at night is what he dictates to the NRM caucus to pass on to his rubberstamp parliament to implement as government policy. To say that elections were fairly conducted is an insult to the intelligence of all Ugandans.
Your husband cheated to be elected to the highest office in the land. You and your family are shielded from the effects of the high prices in the country. You do not know the hardships ordinary people are going through and have to endure to survive every day. You have amassed incredible wealth.
You cannot even allow Ugandans to pass their verdict on your performance as a government. Our right to vote out a rogue regime like your husband’s has been curtailed. Your husband intimidated the people of Kigezi to vote for him by telling them that if they wanted to see dead bodies all around, then they should vote for the opposition.
Stuffing of ballot boxes with pre-ticked ballot papers was the order of the day. NRM’s Peter Sematimba was only denied a fraudulent victory by the quick thinking of his opponents who discovered in time that ballot boxes were filled with pre-ticked ballot papers in order to give Sematimba a fraudulent victory.
After twenty five years in power, there is nothing new you can show to us that can improve our lives. Your regime has produced a few billionaires and a neglected population of beggars. Thieves who stole the CHOGM money have been pardoned by your government because they either come from the ‘correct’ tribe, or they are staunch NRM supporters. Others who are not connected to the regime [like David Jamwa] have been convicted and sentenced to twelve years for exactly the same offence.
Now First Lady, where is the justice? By comparing your husband’s regime to the story of the children of Israel in the Bible, you are committing a great sin called blasphemy. Uganda’s story and that of the exodus in the bible have no parallel resemblance. Yours is a filthy, immoral, and satanic regime. You have no place in heaven.
Jesus said: many will come to me on the last day and say: didn’t I preach in your name, wasn’t I called saved, didn’t I do this miracle in your name? Then He will say to them: go away you evil doers. I never knew you. In this category of Christians will fall Janet Museveni. Can you tell us what you know about the death of Aaron Kagondoki?
I compare you to Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab in the bible. A lot of deaths at Mulago hospital occur because doctors are underpaid; a fact which undermines their morale! There are no drugs because tax payers’ money has been swindled by the untouchable NRM cadres; many of whom are said to have close links to State House.
What about the safe houses where people opposed to the regime are tortured and killed. What do you fear most if a person called Besigye decides to walk to his work place? He just wants to sympathize with other Ugandan’s who cannot afford transport costs to go to work. Every move that Besigye takes, however small, makes you panic.
You panic because you are filled with guilt for what you have done to Ugandans for the last 25 years. A long serving Minister in your government confessed that he has more than four billion Uganda shillings. We know the salary he gets. So where did he get that type of money if he is not a thief like many in NRM?
This type of unbridled greed must be stopped. The Promised Land your husband promised Ugandans should have been reached by now. But we can’t even see a glimpse of it. Instead we are drifting slowly back to Egypt. It is characters like you in the NRM who are the stumbling block to our path to the Promised Land.
People like Kora, Dathan and Abiram in the exodus were removed by God because they were jealous of Moses. We have many Koras and Dathans in the NRM who should be removed by God in order to hasten our arrival to the Promised Land. Under The Musevenis leadership, we shall never get there. END.
