Forum for Democratic Change [FDC] Party President Dr. Kizza Besigye is among top opposition leaders who are expected to lead other aggrieved Ugandans today in a ‘Walk to Work’ protest march over the spiralling cost of living in Uganda.

A reliable source at FDC Headquarters in Najjanankumbi on Entebbe Road has told Uganda Correspondent that Dr. Besigye and John Ken Lukyamuzi, the Conservative Party [CP] President, have both confirmed that they will walk from their residences to their offices in solidarity with other ordinary Ugandans who will participate in the march.

Gaddafi accepts Zuma team ‘road map’ to peace

South African President Jacob Zuma has announced that the embattled Libyan Leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi has accepted an African Union peace plan to end the two month conflict in Libya.

Two Ugandans were among the hundreds of US marines who completed a military education course at the Quartermaster Centre and School at Fort Lee, Virginia, this paper can reveal.

Speaking to this newspaper from his Federal Avenue, Sustainment Command Office-Los Angeles, Capt. Frank Musisi, himself a Ugandan born US Marine, revealed that Fredrick Mwanje and Martin Kasule graduated on March 25th and April 1st respectively.

“…These two soldiers have now completed their training and will proceed to their home bases in Kansas and Hawaii. It is good to have such brave men to acquire modern skills that will enable them to serve the entire world.
