Besigye must not stand again in 2016

If Besigye stands for a fourth term, then his argument that President Museveni has stayed too long in power loses any meaning. Surely, there are other Ugandans who can stand in 2016.
However, as everyone who qualifies is free to stand, Besigye can actually still do so but he must never again be allowed to be the main opposition candidate.
Such a scenario will play very well into the hands of those who believe that people from the same area of Uganda have devised a method of controlling both the government as well as the opposition.
