President Yoweri Museveni has broken his silence over the air disaster that saw three sophisticated Mi-24 attack helicopters belonging to the UPDF crash over Mt. Kenya early last month.

In a condolence letter to the bereaved families of the fallen airmen, Museveni made known that he believes it was the carelessness of the helicopter crew that caused the triple helicopter crash.  Below is the president’s full letter: (more…)
