MBALE – Despite attempts by the Minister of Health Dr Christine Ondroa to convince them not to press for high pay, the medical staff pushed forward with their demand for a salary pay rise of at least 3million shillings for every Doctor in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Uganda Correspondent at his office, the Principal Hospital Administrator for Mbale regional referral hospital

NSSF officials lauching the new e-service

The National Social Security Fund [NSSF] has launched an SMS service which will enable its members to get access to their contributions balances on their mobile phones, and detailed statements online from NSSF’s website.

NSSF also announced that it had set up a call centre with a toll free line.  Addressing a press conference on Wednesday 6^th July, NSSF Managing Director Richard Byarugaba said the three services are part of the Fund’s innovations aimed at improving service delivery to members in its continued effort to (more…)
