George Athor: Controversial in life and death

The surviving leaders of one of South Sudan’s main rebel groups, the South Sudan’s Democratic Movement/Army (SSDM/A), have accused Uganda President Yoweri Museveni of killing their leader George Athor.  In a statement seen by Uganda Correspondent, which was signed by Maj. The embattled National Resistance Movement [NRM] party official who was hounded out of the conference hall by angry crowds at the Grand Public Debate addressed by FDC President Dr. Kizza Besigye in London last Saturday 12th has thrown in the white towel and decided to withdraw from active party politics.
