Sudan declares Uganda an enemy state

The official Spokesman of Sudan’s ruling National Congress Party (NCP) Mr Badr al-Deen Ibrahim has declared that as far as Sudan is concerned, “…Uganda is now classified as an enemy state, adding that they have no mutual interests with Kampala.”

Former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin’s British born adviser Bob Astles has died.  Astles succumbed to cancer of the rectum on December 29, 2012 – just 20 days after his last email to this reporter.

President Yoweri Museveni has said Uganda “…cannot accept the promotion of homosexuality as if it’s a good thing.”  The president however also said gay people should not be killed or persecuted, as MPs continue to consider a controversial Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
